Role Overview
The Head – PR & Marketing Communication will be responsible for leading the organisation’s communication strategy across public relations, media engagement, corporate brand positioning, and marketing communication. The role requires a seasoned communications leader who can strengthen the brand narrative, manage reputation, and drive integrated communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the PR and marketing communication strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Build and maintain strong media relationships to drive consistent, high-quality coverage.
• Develop a compelling corporate and marketing narrative aligned with the institution’s vision and positioning.
• Serve as the primary custodian for external communication, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Manage crisis communication with proactive reputation protection and risk mitigation.
• Drive thought-leadership and brand-building initiatives across digital, print, and event-led platforms.
• Oversee press releases, media statements, campaigns, and executive communication.
• Strengthen internal communication to enhance culture, engagement, and organisational alignment.
• Collaborate with marketing, academic, and leadership teams to support communication needs for key initiatives.
• Manage agency partners and communication resources to deliver high-impact, timely output.
