Job Summary:
The Head – Procurement Intelligence will spearhead the development and execution of procurement analytics, supplier market intelligence, and cost optimization frameworks to support strategic sourcing and business growth. This role demands a strong understanding of procurement processes, category management, and analytics-driven insights to enhance decision-making, drive value creation, and ensure supplier performance excellence. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build intelligence capabilities, and transform procurement into a strategic business enabler.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Procurement Intelligence function, focusing on data-driven insights, market analysis, and category benchmarking.
Develop supplier intelligence frameworks to assess risks, market trends, and cost drivers.
Collaborate with sourcing and category teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Build dashboards and reports to visualize procurement KPIs and performance analytics.
Manage external data partners and tools for market intelligence and competitive benchmarking.
Provide actionable insights to leadership for make/buy decisions, supplier diversification, and spend optimization.
Lead a small team of analysts to build predictive analytics models supporting procurement strategy.
Ensure alignment of intelligence activities with organizational goals and global procurement policies.
