Head - Product Design

You'll architect and lead a cross-disciplinary design vision that spans home dcor, lifestyle accessories, and sustainable luxury - translating artisan craftsmanship into modern, global product experiences.<br/><br/>This is not a back-office design role. It's a frontline leadership seat driving impact across brand storytelling, material innovation, product-market fit, and global expansion.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br/><br/>- Lead Design Vision: Define, evolve, and scale a unified design language across soft goods, textiles, and accessories.<br/><br/>- New Product Development: Partner with sourcing, artisans, and engineering teams to co-create collections that balance aesthetics, utility, and manufacturability.<br/><br/>- Sustainability & Material Innovation: Champion material research (e.g., performance fabrics, leather, terracotta, and upcycled textiles) that reflect the brand's circular ethos.<br/><br/>- Trend & Market Intelligence: Map global lifestyle trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to guide future product pipelines.<br/><br/>- CX-Driven Design: Translate consumer feedback, UX insights, and sales data into design iterations that delight and convert.<br/><br/>- Mentorship & Team Building: Build and coach a high-performing product design team that blends artistic craft with design-thinking methodologies.<br/><br/><b>What We're Looking For</b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of experience in product or industrial design (home, lifestyle, fashion, or related).<br/><br/>- Strong portfolio showcasing design systems, physical products, and branding.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to scale products from concept to market launch.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with sustainable materials, global sourcing, and production processes.<br/><br/>- Sharp business acumen - understands how design drives revenue and brand equity.<br/><br/>- A bold, curious mind with a love for design that creates impact and differentiation.</p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
