Job Description

A Head Slot Mechanic leads a team of technicians to ensure casino slot machines are operational and compliant. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance and repairs, managing parts inventory, developing training for junior technicians, performing audits, and collaborating with management on schedules and machine performance. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of gaming regulations.

Key responsibilities
  • Technical leadership:

    Lead the maintenance and repair of all slot machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all units function correctly and meet regulatory standards.

  • Team management:

    Train and mentor junior technicians, develop their skills, and oversee their work.

  • Operations support:

    Collaborate with management to create maintenance schedules, manage the inventory of machine parts and tools, and perform regular audits for compliance.

  • Machine upkeep:

    Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and fix malfunctions, install new machines, and assist with projects like machine moves or conversions.

  • Compliance and security:

    Ensure all gaming procedures are followed, verify jackpots, and maintain security protocols for equipment and funds.

  • Customer service:

    Assist with guest inquiries and issues related to machine functionality.
