Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership:Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.Drive cost optimization, quality improvement, and risk mitigation across the supply chain.Procurement & Vendor Management:Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for critical categories.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and performance.Lead negotiations and secure favorable terms for long-term agreements.Category Management:Direct Procurement Categories:Battery Cells (Lithium-ion, NMC, LFP)Battery Management Systems (BMS)Thermal Management ComponentsElectrical Components (Connectors, Busbars, Wiring Harness)Enclosures & Structural Components (Aluminum, Steel, Plastics)Cooling Systems & Insulation MaterialsSafety Components (Fuses, Relays, Fire Protection)Electronics & SensorsIndirect Procurement Categories:CapEx (Plant & Machinery)Tooling & FixturesTesting EquipmentIT Systems & SoftwareFacility Management & MROImports Management:Oversee international sourcing and import compliance.Manage customs clearance, duties, and documentation.Material Management:Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.Optimize inventory levels and reduce material wastage.Logistics & Planning:Develop and manage inbound and outbound logistics strategies.Coordinate with transport partners for cost-effective and timely delivery.Implement planning systems for production and procurement alignment.Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.The Successful Applicant
Education: Engineering degree (preferred)Experience:20+ years in supply chain management within Automotive or Tier-1 Auto organizations.Proven track record in procurement, imports, logistics, and material planning.Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Exposure to large-scale supply chain operations and global sourcing preferred.
