Unit Summary

The Juravinski Cancer Centre (JCC) Chemotherapy Suite provides chemotherapy treatment to patients with cancer across all disease sites, as well as treatment to a large number of patients who are recruited to clinical trials. Approximately 150 patients are treated daily in a footprint that includes 3 stretchers and 39 chairs. We work closely with Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, and the JCC Clinics. The Chemotherapy Suite includes our Chemotherapy Nurses, Clerks and Health Care Aides. There is also interaction with Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, and Customer Support Services and with other Juravinski Hospital Staff in the delivery of high quality patient centered care.
