Description We are looking for a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a positive patient experience by managing incoming calls efficiently and with empathy. This is a long-term contract position ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a high volume of inbound calls daily, ensuring each caller is treated with care and professionalism.
• Assess the nature of each call promptly and route it to the appropriate department or individual.
• Respond to emergency codes and alarms, initiating the necessary protocols.
• Make emergency announcements and communicate critical information effectively.
• Utilize telecommunications systems, software, and IT applications proficiently to manage call operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while adhering to healthcare communication standards.
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in interactions with diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong proficiency in handling multi-line switchboards.
• Familiarity with call center operations and best practices.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to listen and assess caller needs.
• Ability to remain calm and focused on details in high-pressure situations.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
