Chapleau Mine Site, Ontario, Canada’s first underground mine to replace mobile diesel equipment with battery electric vehicles (BEV). Schedule 7/7 with possibility of 14/14. Battery electric vehicle (BEV) training and Chapleau Relocation Incentive Program.

The incumbent inspects work and determines nature and extent of repairs, methods, materials, tools, etc. on battery electric vehicles and heavy diesel equipment. Helps plan and assign work with supervisor, ensuring downtime due to mechanical problems in production is minimized.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and assign work with supervisor.
• Develop team skills on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure employees apply health and safety policies and procedures.
• Manage parts procurement needs with Management and Procurement team.
• Actively participate in health and safety meetings and facilitate meetings as required.
