Job Description

Waste Connections is searching for our next All-Star Heavy Equipment Operator to join us at our West Van Materials Recovery Center (6601 NW Old Lower River Rd, Vancouver, WA 98660).

Starting rate of pay is $29.00/HR

Schedule is MONDAY - FRIDAY

Shift is 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (or until close/last truck out). Overtime often.

Safety Sensitive: YES

Qualified candidates must have Front End Loader, Excavator, Yard Truck and Trailer experience.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • REQUIRES ability to efficiently & safely operate Front End Loader, Excavator, Yard Truck and Trailer. Compactor experience preferred

  • REQUIRES Valid Drivers License and acceptable motor vehicle report.

  • Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
