Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator- Traveler


Location: Texas (Borger, San Antonio, Frisco)

Remediation Services, Inc. (RSI), uses a team approach to coordinate our resources. We are staffed with seasoned professionals, highly trained project managers, equipment operators and technicians. RSI's personnel are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and maintain their annual eight-hour updates.  RSI mobilizes its own work force to provide remedial construction services. RSI based in Independence, KS, is a premier nationwide contractor supplying innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex environmental remediation challenge.


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.


Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment

  • Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear

  • Operate routinely used hand tools and equipment

  • Perform general construction labor including site preparation, material handling, demolition support, and cleanup

  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers

  • Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required


Qualifications:



  • 3+ years demonstrated ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers preferred

  • Underground tank removal and remediation experience preferred

  • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions

  • Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights

  • Environmental and hazardous waste experience including certification per OSHA 1910.120 (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER) (Company willing to help obtain)
