Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with CFA Warrnambool, are seeking applications for an Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join the team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to launch a rewarding career, combing on-the-job training with formal qualifications while working in a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, and approved modifications to fleet assets, both workshop and in the field
• Diagnose mechanical faults under the guidance of qualified tradespeople.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Maintaining accurate records and documents on work performed
• Comply with industrial safety standards and maintain a safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work as part of a team and actively participate in team discussion
• Demonstrate an initiative to seek tasks, and guidance from qualified staff
• Reliable and punctual
