ABit Systems has been growing in the IT Sector for over 20 years with our primary focus being IT Managed Service Support.
Our company accommodates a diverse client base along with a variety of industry specific setups.
Our software division also provides specialised bespoke software tailored towards our customers specific requirements.
We offer a close team of technical experts where your commitment and contributions will be recognised.
The Position
We are looking for a full-time permanentemployee to help grow our technical team by providing Level1 Technical Supportto our customers.
If you have an interest in software development, then there might be an opportunity to spend some time with our development department as well, but this will not be the main focus of the position.
The requirements for the role are:
Some recent experience in a similar role would be helpful, but we are also happy to train you from scratch.
Knowledge of Windows OS including Windows 10/11.
Knowledge of Windows server 2016 {}'.format(' / 2019 / 2022 / 2025'). 'would be an advantage.
Abasic understanding of networks.
Having an interest in Firewalls, Switches and Routers.
Be willing to work flexible hours for scheduled after hours work and emergency outages.
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Good written and verbal English skills
Having a reliable vehicle and a current Australian Driver’s Licence.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning at least some of the below:
VMWARE ESXi and virtual servers.
Windows server migrations and upgrades.
Office 365 Migrations.
Veeam and Shadow Protect Products.
Exchange / Office 365 and Active Directory.
SharePoint.
Prior training or an interest in Cyber Security.
