Help Desk Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the MIS department, including problem determination, evaluation, and corrections.
• Provide phone system support.
• Enter global user tickets.
• Support user desktops in Costa Rica (operating system, applications, hardware, external devices).
• Offer remote support for satellite locations (US, Asia, Europe, South America).
• Procure necessary hardware and software to properly maintain company information systems.

Qualifications

• 2 – 5 Years’ Experience in an MIS Support position.
• Experience in PC Software based IS environment with an emphasis on troubleshooting.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Have 20/40 correctable vision and be able to read a computer monitor of reasonable size for 90 consecutive minutes.
