Our planet is a closed system and therefore earths resources should not be wasted. The current situation shows that the resources we use as raw materials lose their identity, and become waste. In our vision, waste can be eliminated in the real estate sector by giving materials an identity through a Material Passport. Madaster Foundation promotes, stimulates and oversees the development and usage of the Material Passport. As such the Foundation has the following primary objectives.

Madaster facilitates the realization of the Material Passport concept by funding the development of the Material Passport delivery and governance tools.
