Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver on a temp to perm contract for our esteemed client in Burton-upon-Trent. They deal with timber products and pallet logistics and as a result, strapping experience is needed.
Responsibilities
Delivering a collecting timber pallets with little to no handball and use of pump truckSafely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelinesUndertake daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptlyPlan and execute assigned routes in a timely and responsible manner, following delivery schedules as instructedLoad and unload cargo, ensuring its secure transportationProvide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor while in...
