HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Description Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 2 Refuse Driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Leyland. This is a temporary to permanent position, they are looking for drivers to start immediately and go through a 13 week probationary period through ourselves. Job Role: Commercial & Domestics waste collection.
Monday-Friday.
06:30 starts. Pay rate:
£16.39ph Weekday before 8 hours
£24.58ph Overtime (over 8 hours)
£32.76ph Bank Holidays Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence.
