Job Title: High School Rec Basketball Referee
Part-time: January 29th to March 5th -
Hours: Thursday evenings - 5:00-9:00 pm
Wage: $18/hour
Probation:Subject to a 12 month introductory (probationary) period.
High School Rec. Basketball League seeksrefereeswho know the game of basketball and can officiate in a positive, calm, instructive manner. The goal is for players to have fun and learn the game, and to teach via communication with coaches and players, keeping control of the games. . Requirements
+ Required – experience in the sport being played and understanding of the rules of the sport
+ Preferred – experience in coaching or teaching children
+ Required – Must have current CPR and First Aid or obtain within first 30 days of employment (class available at the Y)
