Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Area: Surbiton, Surrey
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: 120GBP to 150GBP Depending on age and experience
Working Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Brief description:
Provide 1:1 support for a secondary pupil with ASD in a specialist school setting.
About the school:
An independent special school for learners aged 8-20 with autism, severe learning difficulties, and associated challenges. The school offers a nurturing environment with small classes and therapeutic support.
About the role:
You will work closely with one pupil in secondary, supporting their learning, communication, and emotional regulation. You’ll assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and help the pupil engage and progress.
