Senior Ocean Modeller/Software Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and cutting-edge university in a beautiful location. We are seeking an exceptional individual with expertise in high-resolution ocean models.

You will be responsible for the development, setup, evaluation and delivery of these models using NEMO codebase. Additionally, you will contribute to the upgrade, recalibration and error correction of existing NEMO models. You will also develop software products including warranty support.

  • Use high-resolution ocean models to forecast and hindcast ocean conditions.
  • Conduct tests on numerical models for understanding ocean structure dynamics.
