• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues on heavy vehicles and excavators
  
• Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure peak machine performance
  
• Carry out repairs and replacements of mechanical components, including drivelines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
  
• Conduct thorough safety checks and ensure all equipment meets operational and regulatory standards
  
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and implement effective on-site repairs under challenging field conditions
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
  
• Comply with all site safety procedures and company health and safety policies
  

• Minimum 4+years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  
• Mandatory hands-on experience in excavator mechanical systems and repairs
  
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and component diagnostics
  
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve complex mechanical problems under pressure
  
• Valid mechanic certification or equivalent qualification
  
• Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments, including overseas assignments
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools required
