Job Title: Car Mechanic Roles & Responsibilities Vehicle Inspection & Diagnosis Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues Use diagnostic tools and scanners to find faults Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs Repair & Maintenance Repair and replace engines, gearboxes, clutches, brakes, and suspension systems Perform routine servicing (oil change, filter replacement, lubrication) Repair steering, exhaust, cooling, and fuel systems Electrical & AC Work Diagnose and repair electrical systems (battery, wiring, alternator, starter) Repair car AC systems (compressor, gas filling, cooling issues) Handle ECU-related basic checks (as per experience)
