teaching & instructionteach dance (classical, contemporary, folk, and creative movement) to students of different age groups.develop age-appropriate dance lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and co-curricular goals.foster creativity, discipline, and appreciation of performing arts among students.choreography & performanceschoreograph dance performances for annual functions, cultural programs, assemblies, and special occasions.prepare students for inter-school and intra-school competitions.organize and lead dance workshops or special sessions.student development & engagementidentify and nurture talent among students and guide them to perform confidently.encourage participation in bagless days, celebrations, and theme-based activities.promote teamwork, confidence, and respect for diverse dance forms.administrative & professional dutiesmaintain student progress records and provide feedback to parents when required.assist in planning cultural events and coordinate with other teachers.ensure safety and discipline during practice and performance.stay updated with new dance techniques, trends, and teaching methodologies.
