Exciting Job Opportunity for Excavator Operators to Work in New Zealand!!!

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators ranging from 1.5T to 30T safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site protocols

• Perform trench excavation, bulk earthworks, and backfilling activities with precision and attention to detail

• Support site crews with kerb laying, concreting, pipe installation, and other civil construction tasks as required

• Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and maintain a proactive approach to hazard prevention

• Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 experience operating excavators in a civil construction setting

• Valid Class 2 driver’s licence with WTR endorsements (or ability to obtain within the required timeframe)

• Strong situational awareness and ability to resolve on-site challenges promptly

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour and extended physical tasks

• Proven ability to adapt to changing site conditions while maintaining schedule integrity

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience operating multiple types of earthmoving or civil plant equipment

• Ability to interpret site plans, drawings, or work instructions

• Prior experience working within structured road construction or maintenance teams
