Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, or tiles to construct walls, partitions, arches, chimneys, and other masonry features.
- Apply mortar or alternative bonding agents to secure masonry units with consistent, high-quality joints.
- Ensure accurate alignment of structures using levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges for horizontal and vertical precision.
- Prepare surfaces by measuring, marking layout lines, and setting reference points for construction.
- Mix and prepare mortar, cement, or grout manually or using mechanical mixers according to specifications.
- Cut, shape, and trim masonry materials using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and saws.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in masonry construction, repair, or related field
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and laying masonry materials
- Ability to read blueprints, layout plans, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of mortar mixing, bonding techniques, and structural alignment
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather and elevated positions
- Valid ECR or ECNR passport (required for applicants)
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality craftsmanship
