Roles and Responsibilities Principal Accountabilities
Overall management of the Credit Risk policy for unsecured loans (Personal Loans, Business Loans, Supply Chain,Digital Loans, similar other unsecured loans)
Formulation / Renewal of credit policies / lending parameters for unsecured Loans to comply with guidelines (bothinternal & external) and to serve the twin objectives of meeting business requirements and minimizing credit risk.
Responsible for managing overall credit health of the portfolio including acceptable delinquency indicators & lossrates.
To oversee that new account applications are processed with adherence to credit policy requirements to minimizecredit losses and to contain fraud / credit risk.
To ensure implementation of risk management policies relating to Credit Acceptance and Account fulfilment.
To aid business growth through effective monitoring and control of Unsecured Loans portfolio.
Portfolio management through regular portfolio health test, bureau analysis, industry monitoring and customervisits etc.
Raise awareness and ensure compliance with KYC, AML and other regulatory guidelines
Facilitate development/enhancement of new systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of credit processes
Support people management and ESS initiatives of risk function by nurturing talent, multiplying leadership,ensuring strong performance management culture, building a cohesive team and promoting high level of staffengagement.

Key Responsibilities
Delinquency & Portfolio management - Maintain the portfolio and bounce metrics at acceptable levels and proposemeasures to control the same.
Participating and contributing in building and maintenance of Score Cards and BRE.
Monitoring and enriching the applications through third party sources like Perfios, Total KYC, Bureau, NSDL, UIDAIand explore various other APIs which will help in underwriting and taking accurate decisions.
Identification and management of high risk accounts through Bureau scrub etc., to ensure that loan losses areminimal and maintained within budgets
Developing and Conducting COPR (Credit & operation process review) process to minimize operational & processrisk and sharing observations/ corrective action required with UW teams for continuous improvement and learning
Maintain portfolio quality through sound management of credit policies, development, maintenance, andexecution of appropriate credit MIS for portfolio monitoring
To put robust bureau MIS and analysis in place.
Ensure effective portfolio management though following :

Portfolio Health Test / Scrub:
Regular usage of bureau to calibrate portfolio actions.
Early Warning Signals
Gain portfolio level market and competitive insights.
Scrub - to identify stressed A/cs off-us to act early

Industry/ Segment Monitoring
Monitoring of top industry / segment exposure
Analyze external research data (CRISIL / CMIE) along with market intelligence inputs basis customer visits to enable policy measures.

Customer Visits
Select customers in top industry segments of the portfolio across locations to be visited.
Gain qualitative objective information and identify industry/location level opportunities & headwinds

Fraud Control:
Increased vigilance across login and on-boarding stage.
To cover financial doc check, increased sampling, profile checks, stressed account reviews, negative database, crossverifications.

Exposure Monitoring:
Systemized triggers for Exposure Monitoring across all SBS businesses.
Graded checks basis kind of customer and exposure level
