Sales Engineer Generator Sales Responsibilities Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra generator sets to achieve or exceed sales targets. Generate qualified leads, prepare customized proposals, lead negotiations, and close sales opportunities effectively. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings to promote products and gather competitive intelligence. Manage sales of genuine and OEM diesel and gas generatoar spare parts, providing expert guidance on compatibility, application, and availability. Partner with after-sales teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high client satisfaction. Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 35 years of hands-on experience in diesel generator sales, with a proven track record of success with Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra brands. Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (preferred). In-depth technical knowledge of diesel generators, including control systems, performance parameters, and maintenance requirements. Strong understanding of genuine and OEM spare parts, including application, sourcing, and lifecycle management. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic, consultative selling approaches.

Experienced
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on sales experience in diesel generator sales, particularly with Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra brands. Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering is preferred.
