Sales Engineer – Generator Sales

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra generator sets to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Generate qualified leads, prepare customized proposals, lead negotiations, and close sales opportunities effectively.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings to promote products and gather competitive intelligence.
  • Manage sales of genuine and OEM diesel and gas generatoar spare parts, providing expert guidance on compatibility, application, and availability.
  • Partner with after-sales teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high client satisfaction.




Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in diesel generator sales, with a proven track record of success with Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra brands.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (preferred).
  • In-depth technical knowledge of diesel generators, including control systems, performance parameters, and maintenance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of genuine and OEM spare parts, including application, sourcing, and lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic, consultative selling approaches.




Requirements
