Shuttering Carpenter A Shuttering Carpenter is accountable for constructing assembling and disassembling formwork shuttering utilized in concrete construction Responsibilities Interpret construction blueprints and technical specifications Determine for work dimensions and necessary materials Fabricate shape and construct timber plywood or metal formwork Install and secure formwork in the appropriate positions Utilize spirit levels plumb bobs and measuring tapes to guarantee precision Ensure the formwork is robust enough to support wet concrete Collaborate with steel fixers and masons during concrete pouring Safely remove shuttering without causing damage to the concrete Adhere to site safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment PPE such as helmets gloves and boots Ensure that structures comply with quality and safety standards Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role Benefits
