Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a pivotal role in building a high-performing workforce by designing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives across the organization. This position is critical to identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier talent within the steel, metal manufacturing, or mining sector. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated recruitment team, collaborate closely with business leaders to align hiring strategies with organizational goals, and strengthen the company’s employer brand. With a focus on process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and candidate experience, this role ensures timely, compliant, and effective hiring that supports long-term business growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies tailored to current and future business needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, create compelling job descriptions, and assess talent requirements.
  • Execute targeted sourcing initiatives using job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and other relevant channels.
  • Maintain and enhance the ATS and talent pipelines to ensure a robust talent pool.
  • Monitor and report on key hiring metrics such as time-to-hire (TAT), source-of-hire mix, and offer-to-join ratios.
  • Mentor, coach, and lead the talent acquisition team to drive performance and development.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors and agencies.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with company policies and applicable labor regulations.

  • Requirements

    Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition within the steel, metal manufacturing, or mining industry.
  • MBA / PGDM in HR or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, communication, and influencing across levels.
  • Proficiency in recruitment tools, ATS systems, and data analytics for talent acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
