prepare and maintain operation theatre before and after surgeries. assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures. handle surgical instruments, sutures, and sterilized equipment. ensure strict aseptic and infection control protocols in ot. coordinate with cssd for sterilized instruments and supplies. maintain ot records, instruments checklist, and daily logs. provide pre- and post-operative support to nursing and surgical team. monitor and check ot machines (ventilators, suction, cautery, etc.) before surgery.skills required: good knowledge of ot equipment, surgical procedures, and sterilization methods. ability to assist in emergency surgeries efficiently. strong communication and teamwork skills. commitment to patient safety and nabh compliance.
