Job Description

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality across the application lifecycle by enabling full-stack solutions through cross-functional collaboration, multi-disciplinary planning, and ecosystem integration. You will be responsible for executing continuous testing across security, API, and regression test suites, designing robust automation strategies, and supporting data and environment configurations. Your contributions will include active participation in code reviews, defect monitoring and reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to refine end-to-end testing processes. This role demands independent execution, subject matter expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently execute and optimize testing activities across security, API, and regression test suites.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes into the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions to enhance code and test quality.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on testing metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide solutions to complex testing and quality challenges.
  • Support data setup, environment configuration, and test data management for testing activities.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Proficiency in the ServiceNow IT Service Management platform.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (, JavaScript, Python).
  • Familiarity with API testing and security testing principles and tools.
  • Ability to analyze testing data and generate actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (15 years of full-time education required).
