Job Description Role & Business Overview:

The Director, Hispanics- Mexico Operations, will lead the manufacturing and logistics strategy across all markets within Kraft Heinz’s newly integrated Hispanics-Mexico Business Unit—including Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and South America. This high-growth region encompasses four manufacturing facilities and represents one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing portfolios. By bringing together diverse teams and best practices, the Operations Director will drive operational excellence, performance, and sustainable growth throughout these dynamic markets.

Key Objective:

The Director, Hispanics- Mexico Operations, is responsible for leading the strategic integration of processes, standards, and culture across four factories and multiple supply chain hubs in Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and South America. This role drives operational excellence by maximizing manufacturing efficiency, championing digital transformation, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious business targets. With a focus on scaling logistics for growth, optimizing cost and profitability, and streamlining supply chain operations, the Operations Director fosters collaboration, accelerates innovation, and delivers customer excellence. A critical part of the mandate is to build and develop a strong leadership bench and technical talent pipeline, ensuring a motivated, high-performance workforce that supports ongoing transformation and sustainable success in a dynamic, high-growth region.

Key Activities:
  • Integrate operational processes, standards, and mindsets across all manufacturing sites and supply chain hubs in the region.
  • Coach, develop, and empower a team of senior leaders—setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and building capabilities to enable them to deliver results across all operational, financial, and strategic priorities.
  • Build and reinforce a high-accountability, collaborative culture to enable seamless cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to scale operations and logistics in support of business growth and new market entry.
  • Streamline logistics and supply chain operations by optimizing transportation, warehouse management, and customer service for enhanced delivery speed and cost efficiency.
  • Optimize manufacturing efficiency by sustaining safety and quality, leveraging digital transformation, and advancing KHMS maturity.
  • Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies to drive profitability, focusing on value engineering, automation, yield losses, labor productivity, and utilities.
  • Lead the development and execution of robust training, leadership development, engagement, and retention programs to build a strong technical and leadership talent pipeline.
  • Monitor and analyze KHMS and LOG.OS dashboard metrics, implementing action plans to meet or exceed targets set by the 3-Year Plan and Advantage Survey Evolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Drive financial performance for the region by overseeing operational budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with business goals and accountability for results.
  • Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams by setting clear direction, fostering inclusion and accountability, developing future leaders, and driving high organizational engagement and performance.
  • Lead and share best practices internally and externally to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience & Skillsets
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics senior regional leadership roles, preferably in Food or FMCG or related industries, with proven ability in:
    • Integration and scaling of operations in a complex environment
    • Logistics and supply chain optimization, including transportation and warehouse management
    • Driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
    • Strategic thinking, project management, and change leadership skills
    • Driving Manufacturing efficiency, digital transformation, and operational excellence methodologies
    • Managing senior stakeholders with clear & effective communication skills
    • Analytics, with experience driving cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
    • Leading people development strategies, including leadership pipeline building & engagement
    • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and building high-accountability cultures
