Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Braintree, Essex

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools across Braintree , on either a day-to-day or long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys supporting pupils’ learning and working closely with teaching staff.

The Role:

  • Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Support learning across a range of year groups

  • Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis

  • Assist with assessment and pupil progress

  • Support classroom behaviour and engagement

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
