About the Role:
An excellent secondary school in Lewisham is looking for a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment while playing a key role in delivering high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver planned learning activities and cover lessons for whole classes, small groups, or individual pupils in accordance with school policies and curriculum requirements.
Support students learning by providing targeted academic intervention and tailored support for pupils including with additional needs.
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
