Description
·Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
· Maintains financial information, files and records (e.g. copies of paid invoices, checks, documentation, reimbursements, reports,
·Updates receivables by totalling unpaid invoices. Updating and maintaining records of expenditures
·Reconciles financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
·Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy
·Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions. Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
·Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments – as per agreements.
