Homework Central: Interim Executive Director

Homework Central is seeking an Interim Executive Director to guide the organization through the end of the ’25- '26 school year, and to help set up Homework Central for success in the next school year and beyond. If the Interim ED would like to be considered for the permanent role of ED, they would be included in HWC’s search this spring.

About Homework Central:

Homework Central (HWC) is an educational non-profit located in the city of San Mateo. We provide after-school tutoring and support to elementary school students. Our mission is to empower students facing structural inequities through academic assistance, family engagement, and community resources. We serve 125 students on four campuses in the San Mateo Foster City School District, three hours daily, Monday through Friday. In 2025 HWC celebrated its 27 th year of operation.
