About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced MR or HR Truck Driver with Hook Truck experience to assist our client in Garbutt, Townsville. This role is ideal for a reliable, safety‑focused operator who is happy to combine driving duties with hands‑on labouring work. Due to limited operating hours, this position will involve a significant amount of general labouring, supporting demolition and civil site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating MR or HR truck with Hook Truck experience (essential)
  • Assisting on demolition and civil worksites
  • Labouring duties including:
  • Dust suppression using hoses
  • Opening and closing site gates for truck movements
  • Site clean‑up
  • Digging and general manual tasks
  • Machinery spotting
  • Use of hand tools such as grinders (advantageous)
  • Adhering strictly to site safety and WHS procedures

About You:

• MR or HR Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Hook Truck experience (essential)
• White Card (essential)
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced civil/demolition environment
