Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Design & Development : Design and develop sophisticated hardware components for IoT devices, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, including RF design, manufacturing standards, DSP Algorithms.
2. PCB Layout & Prototyping: Create detailed PCB layouts and prototypes. Ensure designs meet various compliance standards, including FCC and UL.
3. Component Selection & Sourcing: Select appropriate components, balancing technical requirements with supply chain considerations.
4. Firmware Integration: Collaborate with firmware teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware with software, focusing on real-time data capture and
health monitoring functionalities.
5. Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware components to ensure compliance with pet health protocols and safety standards.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other teams to maintain detailed documentation and align with project plans.
7. Innovation & Research: Stay updated with the latest trends in IoT and pet wellness technology, contributing to innovation and strategic product development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in hardware design and PCB layout.
Proficiency in PCB design software (KiCAD, Altium Designer, Eagle).
Experience in IoT device development, preferably in consumer electronics or pet-related industries.
Familiarity with ARM and ESP32 microcontroller-based systems and sensor integration.
Understanding of electronic product compliance, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRA, ZigBee etc.).
Device Driver Programming
Familiarity with firmware programming.
Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
