Hospital Locum Physiotherapist – Brisbane West – $60/ hour

We are currently seeking two locum Physiotherapists for exciting roles within a public hospital setting in Ipswich / South-West Brisbane. These roles offer the opportunity to work within multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality rehab care across both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Role 1: Outpatient Physiotherapist (Group Rehab)

This position involves working within an outpatient rehab clinic, delivering group-based physiotherapy programs. You’ll be supported by an Exercise Physiologist and be responsible for running structured group sessions with up to six clients.

Responsibilities

• Delivering group-based rehab sessions
• Managing varied session formats and treatment plans
• Liaising with multidisciplinary team members to support client goals
• Supporting continuity of care between outpatient and inpatient teams

Role 2: Inpatient Rehab Physiotherapist

This hospital-based role focuses on inpatient rehabilitation, working with a caseload that includes post-surgical, neurological, and orthopaedic patients.

Responsibilities

• Delivering inpatient physiotherapy for active rehab clients
• Participating in discharge planning and care transitions
• Collaborating with nursing, medical, and allied health teams
• Supporting handover and communication with outpatient rehab services

About You

• Completed Physiotherapy Tertiary degree (essential)
• Full AHPRA registration (essential)
• Hospital experience (essential for inpatient role)
• Previous outpatient or group rehab experience (preferred for outpatient role)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current driver’s license (essential)
• Eligible to work permanently in Australia (essential)
