Job Description

Medicus is collaborating with a facility in Memphis, Tennessee, that has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum nocturnist coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Shifts: 7a-7p, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a
  • Schedule: 7 on/7 off
  • Nightly Volume: ~15 admits, 2-3 calls per hour
  • Duties: Evaluate and handle new admissions, EKG reviews for possible STEMIs, some critical care coverage, etc.
  • No procedures required
  • Support Staff: Hospitalist MD on backup call, APPs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses
