Manage the ICU for 7 days and Floor for 7 days

UNC Health Blue Ridge, a not-for-profit healthcare system nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine physician for a Nocturnist Hospitalist role.
Location Highlights:
+ Minutes off the I-40 corridor
+ 1 hour from Charlotte, Boone, and Asheville
+ Surrounded by mountains, lakes, and state parks
Opportunity Highlights:
+ Schedule: 7-on/7-off, 7 PM – 7 AM
+ Role: ICU management one week, floor management the next
+ Procedures: Opportunity to maintain and grow procedural skills
+ Education: Participate in teaching IM residents and medical students
+ Support: Full spectrum of specialty care including Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Oncology, Surgery, and more
Candidate Requirements:
+ Internal Medicine trained
+ ABIM certified or board eligible
+ Ability to be credentialed in procedures
