Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Houston, TX

Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid State Medical License in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently during on-call shifts

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk obstetrics
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish
• Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a similar inpatient setting
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 am
• Must have or be willing to obtain necessary licensure, certifications, and credentials
• Willingness to travel and complete required reimbursements as applicable
