We are seeking a dedicated Hostel Warden to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions in Hyderabad. This full-time, mid-level position requires 4-6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of hostel activities and maintaining a safe and conducive environment for residents.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong experience in student supervision, including monitoring resident conduct and enforcing hostel rules to ensure a safe living environment.
  • Proficiency in record keeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to hostel administration, residents, and logistics.
  • Effective facility management skills to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the hostel facilities and address any issues promptly.
  • Proven disciplinary procedures expertise (Mandatory skill) to handle any breaches of conduct with fairness and authority.
  • Excellent communication skills (Mandatory skill) to liaise with residents, parents, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Strong team leadership abilities (Mandatory skill) to manage hostel staff efficiently and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to tackle issues that arise in daily hostel operations swiftly and effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hostel activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
  • Implement and enforce hostel policies and disciplinary measures when needed.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to manage hostel logistics, including room allocations and inventory.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the premises.
  • Address any grievances from residents and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement programs aimed at enhancing community living and student welfare.
  • Maintain detailed records of student attendance, incidents, and maintenance requests.
  • Organize and conduct periodic meetings with residents to address concerns and foster a positive community atmosphere.
