Job Overview

Easa College of Engineering & Technology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hostel Warden Male to join our team. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in hostel management, with a work experience ranging from 4 to 6 years. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure smooth hostel operations.


Qualifications and Skills

  • 5- 10 years experience in wardenship in a college is preferable.
  • Facility maintenance oversight is essential to ensure that all hostel amenities and infrastructure are well-maintained and serviced regularly (Mandatory skill).
  • Administrative reporting to provide comprehensive reports on hostel activities, occupancy status, and incidents (Mandatory skill).
  • Health and safety compliance to ensure that the hostel adheres to all health and safety regulations and maintains a safe environment for residents (Mandatory skill).
  • Conflict resolution skills to effectively mediate and resolve disputes and issues among hostel residents and staff.
  • Student counseling to provide support and guidance to students regarding hostel life and personal challenges.
  • Emergency response management to handle emergencies efficiently and ensure the safety and well-being of all hostel residents.
  • Security protocol implementation to establish and enforce security measures to protect residents from potential risks.
  • Budget management to oversee hostel finances and ensure effective allocation of resources to maintain hostel facilities.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the hostel, ensuring a clean, safe, and secure environment for all residents.
  • Supervise hostel staff and coordinate with maintenance teams to address infrastructural issues promptly.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to ensure student safety and minimize potential risks.
  • Facilitate communication between students and authorities for resolving grievances and maintaining harmony in hostel premises.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of hostel occupancy, incidents, and financial transactions for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Plan and organize student engagement activities within the hostel to foster a supportive community environment.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, coordinating with appropriate authorities and maintaining crisis management protocols.
