The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, maintaining workplace discipline, and ensuring smooth administrative operations across the company. This includes overseeing recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, policy enforcement, attendance tracking, and internal communication. The role requires someone organized, proactive, and confident in managing both systems and people in a fast-paced creative environment.


Key Responsibilities


1. Human Resource Management

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and exit formalities.

  • Maintain employee lifecycle documentation in Zoho People — contracts, NDAs, performance logs.

  • Track attendance, punctuality, and leave data rigorously as per the LIVXS Red Line System.

  • Own the execution of the Progressive Discipline Policy, performance reviews, and internal grievance redressal.

2. People & Culture

  • Drive culture initiatives using the Team Virtue Index and ensure team alignment with values like Timekeeper, Commander, and Shapeshifter.

  • Collaborate with Department Heads to execute performance reviews and 1:1 feedback loops.

  • Coordinate team bonding, internal events, wellness days, and seasonal recognition drives.

  • Keep employee communication clear, timely, and Hydra-resistant.

3. Administrative Operations

  • Maintain documentation, equipment handovers, NOCs, office space hygiene, travel bookings, and logistics for team movement.

  • Ensure accurate Zoho Books entries for reimbursements, payouts, and vendor invoices tied to HR/Admin.

  • Track asset issuance (laptops, drives, IDs) and maintain check-in/check-out logs.

4. Compliance & Policy Enforcement

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company contracts, and internal employment policies (handbook, NDAs, social media policies).

  • Update and circulate new policies when needed (PTO updates, probation protocols, etc.).

  • Handle dispute resolution with discretion and diligence.

5. Zoho & Automation Ownership

  • Manage Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, and support automation of routine admin workflows.

  • Create and maintain HR dashboards for management — hiring funnel, attrition rate, engagement levels.



Requirements

Key Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Books, or equivalent HRIS/ERP platforms

  • Excellent organizational skills with strict attention to documentation and compliance

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (you’ll be both therapist and tactician)

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, drive fairness, and balance empathy with discipline

  • Process-oriented with a proactive approach to improvement

  • Familiarity with creative agency or production studio culture is a bonus

Qualifications Preferred

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology

  • 2+ years experience in HR/Admin roles, preferably in creative, media, or event-based industries

  • Knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll structure, and Zoho ecosystem is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated ability to build culture, not just teams
