Job Summary:
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and supporting HR-related processes to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Maintain and update employee records (hard and digital copies).
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars.
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and following up with applicants.
Organize onboarding programs for new hires and support offboarding processes.
Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
Manage and track employee leave records and attendance.
Help in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and company data.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant administrative position.
Understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Discretion and confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
