Overview
The Human Resource Assistant drives in positive employee relations and helps create a supportive environment for our team. This role focuses on employee well-being through HR programs and also supports recruitment efforts to bring in new talent.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates new hire process for managing staff including orientation and new hire paperwork.
- Handles employment related inquiries from employees and escalates to Human Resources Manager as needed.
- Assists department heads/managers with employee inquiries, performance review process, coaching, counseling and terminations.
- Ensures that employee records and master list are updated.
- Assists the Recruitment Officer for recruiting, interviewing, screening candidates during peak seasons.
- Updates, monitors, and maintains eligible salary adjustment based one year evaluations.
