HR Associate – HR Direct (Spanish Support)

Location: Mumbai, India
Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM
Job Type: Full-time 
Reporting To: Team Lead – HR Direct

Job Summary

The HR Associate – HR Direct serves as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and HR partners globally. The role delivers accurate, timely, and empathetic HR support across payroll, benefits, policies, and employee lifecycle processes via phone, chat, and employee portal (G&Me). This position requires Spanish language proficiency to support Spanish-speaking employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

HR Service Delivery (85%)

  • Handle employee queries via phone, chat, and portal using ServiceNow.

  • Provide HR support on payroll, benefits, policies, and Workday transactions.

  • Guide employees and managers on HR self-service tools (G&Me, Workday).

  • Deliver clear, customer-focused resolutions in English and Spanish.

  • Perform research, collaborate with HR functional teams, and escalate cases when required.

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and turnaround times.

  • Translate complex HR processes into simple, easy-to-understand language.

  • Process Improvement

  • Identify and report system or process gaps impacting employee experience.

  • Recommend and support improvements in HR processes and self-service tools.

  • Letter Management (15%)

  • Create and manage standardized employee letters (Bonafide, Service, Attestation, etc.).

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and maintain accurate trackers.

  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, or query management.

  • Spanish language proficiency (spoken & written) – mandatory.

  • Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional customer service mindset with empathy and professionalism.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and sound judgment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
