About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated HR Executive to join our team at D.S. Research Centre, Kolkata. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the end-to-end HR functions — from recruitment to employee engagement — ensuring smooth operations and a healthy workplace culture within one of India’s leading Ayurvedic cancer research organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and update job descriptions for all positions in coordination with respective departments.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of candidates.
Coordinate with the HR Consultant for induction and joining formalities.
Prepare and issue appointment, confirmation, and other HR-related letters as applicable.
Support in conducting performance appraisals and coordinating with management and department heads.
Maintain and regularly update the HR Information System (HRIS).
Handle the full and final settlement process for resigned employees.
Address and resolve employee grievances through appropriate communication and escalation.
Manage leave records, attendance tracking, and monthly salary sheet preparation.
Distribute payslips and leave cards to employees on a timely basis.
Requirements & Skills
MBA (HR) from a recognized university (Full-time; no correspondence courses).
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional language (mandatory).
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
Sound knowledge of HR policies, employee engagement, and compliance procedures.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office.
