Key Responsibilities

1 . Payroll & Attendance Management (Primary Focus)

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time using GreytHR.
  • Validate attendance, leave, and LOP data before payroll closure.
  • Ensure accuracy in salary structures, deductions, arrears, new joiner payroll, and final settlements.
  • Generate payslips, payroll summaries, and statutory reports from GreytHR.
  • Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and payroll reconciliation.

2. GreytHR Administration

  • Maintain employee master data in GreytHR with complete accuracy.
  • Configure attendance, leave, holiday calendars, and payroll components in GreytHR.
  • Address employee queries related to payslips, tax, PF/ESI, and payroll records.
  • Support payroll and statutory audits by providing system-generated data.

3. Statutory Compliance & Payroll Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and applicable labour laws.
  • Support preparation and filing of statutory returns and challans.
  • Maintain statutory registers, payroll records, and compliance trackers.
  • Assist during internal and external audits and ensure timely closures.

4. HR Operations Support

  • Support onboarding and exit processes, including documentation and payroll clearances.
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
  • Prepare HR MIS reports related to payroll, headcount, and attrition.
  • Support HR initiatives and employee engagement programs.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with payroll consultants, statutory vendors, and auditors.
  • Track timelines and follow up on statutory filings and audit requirements.

 

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on payroll processing experience
  • Strong working knowledge of GreytHR
  • Good understanding of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and labor law compliance
  • Strong Excel and data accuracy skills
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Sensitivity to inclusion, diversity, and disability-related workplace needs

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resources
  • 2–4 years of experience in Payroll & HR Operations
  • Mandatory experience using GreytHR
  • Experience in NGO / social sector is an added advantage
